FREESTYLE SNOWBOARD COURSES FOR AGES 9 AND UP: Kids, Teens, and Adults

Join our freestyle snowboarding course to learn new skills and get tips on practicing tricks. Jump right in and challenge yourself while finding more fun on the slopes!
In our course, you'll also learn the park snowboarding etiquette, ensuring safety for you and other skiers and snowboarders at the park.
GREEN LEVEL: Learn your first jumps & tricks at MiniPark
In the Green Level course, you'll safely explore the basics of freestyle snowboarding alongside like-minded friends. Participants must already be comfortable snowboarding at least blue-level slopes.
• On the first day, you'll practice basic tricks and begin with simple jumps in the MiniPark.
• On the second day, you'll learn how to hit rails using the press box and practice basic rail tricks.
BLUE LEVEL: Take your tricks to the next level
If you already know how to do straight jumps and want to improve your jibbing skills, this course will give you guidance and tips to level up. Each obstacle can be tailored to participants' current skills, and challenges can be added to suit everyone's level!
• First day: jumping sessions.
• Second day: rail practice.
Course duration: 1 or 2 x 1h45min, on consecutive afternoons*. The meeting time is at 2 PM.
Course price: 1 x 1h 45min = €42 and 2 x 1h 45min = €84, minimum 3 participants.
*If there are fewer participants, the course duration will be shortened accordingly.
The group meeting point is at East Ruka, near the Vuosseli rental shop and the 6-person Express chairlift, at the meeting point / Vuosseli sign.

Course dates for the 2024-2025 season:
- Christmas holidays: 30.–31.12. Mon-Tue / 2.–3.1. Fri-Sat
- Winter break: 17.-18.2. / 24.-25.2. / 3.-4.3. Mon-Tue
- Easter: 18.–19.4. Fri- Sat

When you're booking the course, you can choose to book either only the first day (jumping day), or the second day (rails) or both consecutive days. If you choose both days, please add them to the shopping cart one by one. You'll then also need to fill the participant info twice.
