RukaTonttu51 is suitable, for example, for two couples. The apartment has two bedrooms. In the living room area, the sofa bed can be used as an extra bed for 1‒2 persons free of charge. The kitchenette and living room area has a fireplace. After relaxing in the private sauna, you can take a dip in Talvijärvi lake.
The apartment's storage facilities are designed specially for winter sports equipment, and all the apartments have also a ski locker by the entrance. In RukaTonttu's common area, you can find a ski maintenance room and a laundrette with a washing machine and dryer.
In Ruka Ski-Inn apartments, you can sort and recycle biowaste, plastic, glass, metal, paper and cardboard. RukaTonttu's waste collection point is located by the Talvijärvi car park. Your holiday at Ruka Ski Resort is environmental-friendly. The energy we use is 100% renewable, and we heat with ecological wood chips. Your day out on the ski slope won't increase your carbon footprint, as Ruka Ski Resort lifts run on renewable energy.
This apartment type has a limited number of pet rooms available. To check pet room availability, please choose the option "Travelling with a pet" (on the right-hand column). Pets are accommodated without extra charge.
We want to guarantee a good night’s sleep for all our guests, which is why our Ski-Inn apartments have quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM.

RukaTonttu apartments are located by Ruka Ski Stadium overlooking Talvijärvi lake. You will have an easy access to the Talvijärvi slope, T-bar lift and ski trails from your doorstep. The services of Ruka village are within a walking distance of 400 m and by car 2,4 km. Village-2-Valley scenic gondola will take you to Ruka Valley and the Family Park slope area. In winter, the nearest SkiBus stop (line 2) is RukaTonttu. SkiBus lines 1 and 2, Ruka‒Kuusamo SkiBus, as well as airport busses operate from Ruka village.
The next-door hotel has a public sauna (extra fee), and you can also take an ice swimming dip in Talvijärvi lake. During the summer season, the residents have an easy access to the beach, straight from their doorsteps. The beach and ice swimming are free of charge for the residents of RukaTonttu. There is also a 9-hole disc golf course for families as well as an outdoor sports park.
