Ruka offers fun & games in the slopes for every day of the week. Some are already classics but there are some completely new activities as well.
Updated 24.2.2025:
- Currently, only Ruka’s FIS5, Saarua’s lit trail, Ruka Round Trail, Vuosseli Outdoor Trail and Talvijärvi dog skiing trail are groomed once a day. Other trails will be maintained again once the weather freezes! More information on page Ski trails.
- All ice skating rinks (outdoors) have been closed due to warm weather. More information about ice skating on page Sports centres.
Labour strike's effects on Ruka Ski Resort Mon-Tue 3.-4.3.2025:
- Lifts open from 9.30 to 18.00
- No snow racing on Monday and Tuesday
- Valley Rental closed on Monday and Tuesday
- The gondola is open from 9:30 to 18:00. After this, Ruka area ski bus will operate normally between Ruka village and RukaValley. Additional departures between Ruka village and RukaValley until 23:00 as follows:
