Season Pass

For matters related to season pass terms, we apply the contract terms for ski resort services agreed upon by the Finnish Ski Area Association and the Consumer Ombudsman, which can be found here.

Please note that the season pass is personal. It must not be transferred to another person. If someone other than the owner uses the season pass, a 150€ inspection fee will always be charged.

The season pass must be personally collected from one of Rukakeskus Oy’s locations (Piste Rental, Vuosseli Rental, or Valley Rental).

 

Corporate Pass

We follow the contract terms for ski resort services agreed upon by the Finnish Ski Area Association and the Consumer Ombudsman, which can be found here.  

The corporate pass is available for use by the company’s/community’s representatives and staff, as well as residents of the community’s holiday cabin.  The corporate pass can be delivered by mail or collected from one of Rukakeskus Oy’s locations (Piste Rental, Vuosselinportti Rental, or RukaStore).

Ski School

We follow the contract terms for ski school services agreed upon by the Finnish Ski Area Association and the Consumer Ombudsman, which can be found here.

 

Oulu-Ruka Ski Bus

In case of cancellations, please contact Ruka’s sales service directly at sales@ruka.fi / +358103825225. For travel cancellations, we follow the Ski Resort Services Contract Terms. 

 

Lift Tickets

We follow the contract terms for ski resort services agreed upon by the Finnish Ski Area Association and the Consumer Ombudsman, which can be found here.

Please note that all lift tickets and season passes are personal, except for the corporate pass.

 

Rental Equipment

1) The customer must return rented equipment to the same rental location from which it was originally picked up. 

2) Equipment exchange or cancellation: Already rented equipment cannot be exchanged, modified, or canceled except in force majeure or illness cases. Internet rental is subject to the same conditions as normal equipment rental (SHKY Terms of Service for slope services).

 

Use of Personal Data

The booker’s personal data will be added to Rukakeskus Oy’s marketing register, through which you will receive arrival instructions and other useful information regarding your reservation. In the future, you will receive emails or text messages with updates on possible bookings, door codes, marketing, and communications. Your data will be processed according to Rukakeskus Oy’s privacy policy, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Paytrail Payment Transactions

Paytrail collects the IP address, payment method, and payment time during a payment transaction. https://www.paytrail.com/tietosuojaseloste-paytrailin-maksupalvelu

Unfortunately, at this time, Epassi, Culture and Activity Vouchers, and Finnair Plus points can only be used for payment on-site. Learn more about rental and ticket offices: Piste Rental, Valley Rental, Vuosselinportti Rental.

 

Online Store Payment Methods

In Rukakeskus Oy’s online store, we accept:

  • Credit or Debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, ApplePay, GooglePay)
  • Online bank payments (via Paytrail service)

Online store payment methods are managed by Rentle Payments and are constantly evolving. 

 

Paying for Lift Tickets and Equipment Rentals with Sports and Culture Vouchers or Apps

You can pay for lift tickets and equipment rentals using the following sports/culture vouchers. Please note that all vouchers are personal, and all vouchers used must have the name clearly written on them. Sports/culture vouchers cannot be used to pay for sightseeing lift tickets or summer sled rides (per tax authority regulations). To verify identity, purchases with vouchers/cards must be made at the counter (for lift tickets at counter price), meaning they cannot be used as a payment method in the online store.

  • Edenred (mobile payment, card & voucher)
  • ePassi
  • Tyky voucher
