E-Fatbike Tour to the Magical Landscapes of Riisitunturi – 4 Hours of Arctic Adventure!
Riisitunturi National Park is one of Finland’s most breathtaking natural destinations, especially in winter when the snow-covered trees create a magical kingdom of natural sculptures. The park’s 20 km multi-use trail offers stunning views and diverse terrain, making it ideal for e-fatbiking. We’ll ride at a relaxed pace, stopping as needed to admire the scenery and observe wildlife tracks in the snow.
Tour Itinerary
🚴 Introduction to the Bikes and Riding Techniques
The adventure begins with a thorough introduction to e-fatbikes. We’ll go over safe riding techniques for both uphill and downhill sections to ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey in the fell terrain.
🌄 Admiring the Fell Views (2 km)
After the initial stretch, we’ll stop to take in the breathtaking views from the top of Riisitunturi. On clear days, you can see the rugged fells of Lapland and vast marshlands stretching to the horizon.
⬇️ Descent and Break at Uusilampi Shelter (7 km)
Next, we’ll descend from the fell and ride about five kilometers to Uusilampi shelter. Here, we’ll take a break, enjoy some snacks, and relax in the peaceful wilderness.
🔁 Return via Nuolivaara (13 km)
After the break, we’ll continue our journey back to the starting point via Nuolivaara. The return route offers breathtaking scenery and varied terrain, making for an unforgettable experience.
🍲 Traditional Salmon Soup at Tykky Café
After the ride, we’ll warm up at the cozy Tykky Café with a delicious salmon soup. This hearty meal is the perfect way to wrap up the adventure and share the day’s best moments with fellow riders.
🚐 Free Transportation for the First 7 Participants
The first seven people to sign up will receive free transport to Riisitunturi from the Ruka-Kuusamo area!
