Up North, which has sold out in advance in all previous years, is getting bigger, and this year, it starts on Thursday. There will be more artists and skiing, three nights of gigs and fun at Restaurant Piste, and two days of Up North Rail Jams and gigs at Ruka Park. This is going to be the best Up North yet!

Up North brings young people to Rukatunturi, united by a passion for skiing and the most current music. The most interesting Finnish artists and DJ's are at the heart of the event.

Up North includes three program-rich evening events with top artists and DJ music. The venue is Restaurant Piste. Up North Rail Jam, the largest park event in the Nordic countries, takes over Ruka Park on Friday and continues as usual on Saturday. Up North Rail Jam consists of park jam sessions, delicious hot dogs, and free and non-age-restricted slope gigs! In addition, Ruka's gorgeous environment offers festival-goers, in addition to music and skiing, other opportunities in the form of various activities, delicious food, and relaxation.

Tickets

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, August 7, at 10:00.

Tickets are sold like last year, i.e., in stages so that the price increases gradually. The steps proceed as follows:

Note!

As last year, the ticket prices include a lobby service fee of 3 x 3.5€ = 10.50€ to make entry into the event as smooth as possible. So you don't have to pay the hall service fee separately on the spot.
A limited number of tickets are available for each price.
The following Price Class will be activated immediately if the tickets run out.
Tickets will be exchanged for wristbands.

Age limit

The evening events are K18. The Up North Rail Jam, organized on the slope, is free and open to all ages.

WRISTBAND EXCHANGE

Wristband Exchange Instructions

You will need either an electronic or physical ticket to exchange for a wristband. Note that 1-day tickets can only be exchanged on the specific day of validity.

Ticket Exchange by Day:

Wednesday:
3-day tickets only

Thursday:
3-day tickets and 1-day Thursday tickets

Friday:
3-day tickets and 1-day Friday tickets

Saturday:
3-day tickets and 1-day Saturday tickets

General Information:

Bring a valid ID to verify your age for the wristband exchange.
The wristband is personal; it will be attached directly to the ticket holder's wrist and cannot be collected on behalf of a friend.
Do not cut or burn the "tails" of the wristband. Cut or damaged wristbands will not be replaced.
If the wristband is too tight, you must obtain a new one at the wristband exchange point. To receive a replacement, you will need the too-tight wristband, your ticket, and a valid ID.

Note: A new wristband can only be issued in exchange for the old one.
