SNOWBOARDING LUMIWERNERI - BEGINNER COURSE LEVEL 0
Beginner course for children and young people aged 8-15 who are taking their first steps into the world of snowboarding. The course teaches the basics of snowboarding: getting to know the equipment and learning slope safety rules, practicing sliding, turning, and stopping on a snowboard. The goal is to be able to independently and smoothly ride blue slopes by the end of the course.
The first lesson will be held at Rosa & Rudolf Family Park. In the school-age children’s group, participants may be able to ride an easy blue slope by the second day of the course. Please ask the instructor about the need for a lift ticket for the following days after the first lesson.
Price of Werneri courses: €123, minimum 3 children per group. If there are fewer participants, the course duration will be shortened proportionally to the number of participants.
Duration of Werneri courses: 3 x 1 hour 45 minutes, on consecutive mornings. Meeting time is at 10:00.
Groups will meet at East-Ruka, on the plateau between the Ski Bistro restaurant terrace and the Vuosseli Anchor lift, at the signs for the Ski School groups by sport/level.
LumiWerneri course Level 0 schedule for the 2024 - 2025 season:
- CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY: 26.–28.12. / 29.–31.12. / 2.–4.1.
- SKI HOLIDAYS: weeks 8*–10: Mon-Wed
- EASTER: 18.–20.4. Fri-Sun

Book the course well in advance, no later than 15:00 the day before. After the registration period has ended, you can inquire about available spots on-site or by calling 0400101636. If there is space in a suitable level group, you can join the course even for just the first lesson. In that case, the participation fee is €42 per session.
