Lapland Chamber Orchestra - Grieg and the Persistent Colors of Autumn

The renowned Norwegian pianist Håvard Gimse is flying straight from Tokyo to Lapland to perform! Making his debut as a soloist with the Lapland Chamber Orchestra, Gimse will present his acclaimed interpretation of his compatriot Edvard Grieg’s beloved Piano Concerto.

The artistic director of the Lapland Chamber Orchestra, John Storgårds, has once again crafted an intriguing concert program that skillfully interweaves the old with the new, blending both renowned and perhaps lesser-known composers, while also featuring several Finnish premieres in Jontte’s signature style.
