Ruka Playground
As winter transforms into spring, Ruka's Vuosseli slope area becomes a unique playground for park riders, with fun tracks and obstacles suitable for park riding emerging on the fell. It's a bit like the competition arenas of Wappulounas, but not just for the duration of a single event – instead, from the end of March until May Day!
What? Ruka Playground transforms the Vuosseli slopes into a playground for riders of all levels as fun park obstacles and creative lines can be found in the ski area.
When? 29.3.-30.4.2024. Ruka Playground is open for everyone every day. Ruka Playground areas and obstacles will be regularly shaped for the whole April to allow skiers and snowboarders to enjoy well-maintained spots throughout the spring. A hot tip for those hungry for events: Ruka Spring Break and Wappulounas conveniently coincide with the Playground period.
To whom? Obstacles are designed to be suitable for the full send as well as mellow cruising and practicing your tricks. If you like to ride park or other fun features made of snow, Ruka Playground is for you.
