Project name: Ruka – World's best for families and the environment
Project description: The World's best for families and the environment project continues the previous strategic projects of Ruka. Ruka's development is based on the Ecosign Masterplan created in 2003, which this project also implements. The project includes Finland's first 8-person Express chairlift, new experiential slope areas focusing particularly on international customers, and an increase of Ruka's snowmaking capacity by about 50% with environmentally friendly technology. The MastoExpress lift will be Finland's most efficient lift with a capacity of 4000 skiers per hour. The project increases Ruka's lift capacity by 15% and slope area by 10%.
